Final zap of science bewonderment
Packing is a pain.
I'm having to decide between the universal warnings of "pack light" and "don't forget anything (because you can't buy fitting clothes in Japan)". Luckily I will be able to ask my Mother to post me a parcel if I forget anything important (though the general idea is not to recquire that).
- The Tissue-Art Culture project - do not click if you are eating - especially the absolutely fascinating "Disembodied cuisine" (a truly guiltless grill)
- Why I'm not doing nursing
- Maggots and Leeches welcomed back into healthcare - this is what happens when you outsource
- Astrologists are morons
- Why some popcorn doesn't pop (well if it doesn't pop, its not popcorn, its just plain corn isn't it?)
- Best of Hubble
- A fantasitic Underwater Photography Gallery
- Survival skills: How to start a fire with chocolate and coke can (sadly in America I suspect quite a few campers put those two items higher on the priority list than matches)
- I'm still trying to work out what exacty a "narrow beam of sound" is; it isn't possible, is it?
- All you ever wanted to know about Pineapples and their symbolism in PanAmerican culture
- Interesting prototype designs of the new X-box - I don't read French, but it may actually have to do with an advertising campaign
