Stop Pretending You Don't Want Me
Stop Pretending You Don't Want Me - MP3 (Tripod, JJJ Song-in-an-hour challenge)
Today i got back my degree (YAY!) and also received my "Certificate of Eligibility", which now means I can send off for my work visa from the Consulate. Rock! I am wanted. Only two more steps left (they certainly make it hard to get into the country)
So now I've read the books, didn't listen to the tapes (damn heat damage), I'm starting some vocab lists to study for my Japanese.

A little bit more about Japanese fascism:
Burakumin:
During the Tokugawa Period, such people were required to live in special buraku (hamlets) and, according to one legal case, they were said to be "worth 1/7 of an ordinary person."
Although the class was officially abolished in 1871 under the Emancipation Act of the Meiji Period, in reality, not much changed for the people once known as Eta (abundant pollution) or Hinin (non-human). The descendants of these people are often refused jobs and accommodation, and many of them are caught in a vicious cycle of poverty reinforced by discrimination. Its kind of sad that this still goes on today. Not that people don't do the same to Catholics, Irish, Protestants, Gypsys, Hutus or other man-created "ethnic" groups elsewhere in the world. People SUCK.
Feel Better: BUY AN AWESOME JAPANESE MOBILE PHONE or keitai・けいたい (from Japanese for "carry" and "portable")
